You can review the most current version of the Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms at any time. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By making a purchase on the SNED Music website, you are agreeing that you are over 18 and will not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
Prices for our products and services are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a product or service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
BOOKINGS
Accuracy of Billing & Account Information
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and contact information for all purchases made on the SNED Music website.
GROUP COURSES AND CLASSES
Applicable to: Ableton Live Courses, and Sned Sessions Co-Working + Coaching sessions
Pre-payment
All courses require pre-payment or a payment plan – available via PayPal in 4 or Wizit at the checkout.
Refunds & Transfers
Course fees, deposits, and pre-payments are 100% NON-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other SNED Music services.
Course tickets are transferable (re-sellable) to another user ONLY if the course has sold out or upon agreement from SNED Music in writing. Course ticket transfers incur a $20.00 AUD administration fee.
Course Ticket Validity
Course tickets are only valid for the course dates specified in the course you have booked. Individual class transfers to future courses are considered on a case-by-case basis and are only possible when discussed and confirmed in writing before the start date of the course you have booked.
Location
Location for group venues may be subject to change at late notice. Classes will always be held at various venues on rotation within the inner-north suburbs, so please be sure that you are able to reach the following areas:
- Fitzroy
- Northcote
- Preston
- Brunswick
- Coburg
- Fawkner
- Thornbury
Postponement
Depending on booking numbers, courses may be postponed by up to 14 days from the originally advertised date. In this case, the final two classes of 8-week courses will be rescheduled and will take place two weeks later than initially planned. Please check your calendar to see if this works for you before booking.
(Note: does not apply to special courses such as the Small Group Edition)
In the case of a postponed course in which three or more participants cannot make the rescheduled dates, private, in-person group classes will be arranged at the Coburg North studio, which you are welcome to attend at no additional cost. If you are unable to attend any rescheduled classes (for example overseas travel), you are welcome to attend private 1:1 in-person or online sessions to make up for the rescheduled classes, at no additional cost.
Course cancellation
Courses require a minimum number of participants to proceed. In the (highly) unlikely case of cancellation due to low numbers, your fees will be refunded in full.
1:1 PRIVATE SESSIONS
Applicable to all private lessons and music production/mixing/mastering sessions (online and in-person).
Refunds and Transfers
All payments for 1:1 private sessions are 100% NON-refundable and non-transferable.
Non-transferable means they cannot be exchanged for other SNED Music services; and cannot be transferred to another person.
Pre-payment
All Private Lessons and production/mixing/mastering work require pre-payment at least 7 days in advance.
Booking in a Date and Time
The date and time of your session/s can be arranged before or after you make the payment. This will occur via phone or email.
1:1 private bookings are not confirmed until payment is received and the date/s and time/s agreed in writing. Timeslots are kept open for other bookings until confirmed.
4-pack private sessions must be used within 8 weeks of purchase.
Postponement
Private lessons can only be postponed once and require a minimum of 72 hours notice before the lesson or the lesson will be cancelled.
Cancellations
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booked session time incur a forfeit of session fees.
Arrival for your Lesson
You agree to arrive on time for 1:1 private sessions and understand that in the case of late arrival, it is not possible to extend session/lesson times.
You agree to arrive no more than 5 minutes early for 1:1 private sessions and instrument lessons.
Outcall Sessions
Outcall sessions are subject to call-out fees discussed during your booking.
PERFORMANCE BOOKINGS
Bookings for all performances must be made in writing
Bookings will be confirmed in writing and will require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid upon invoice (or a PO number supplied). The final balance will be invoiced following the delivery of the performance with the invoice due date 2 weeks after the performance has been delivered.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sned Music and our affiliates, partners, directors and contractors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. booking.
